This year, Kállay Saunders is releasing his very first solo Christmas track in English, "Merry Christmas Everyone," originally performed by Shakin’ Stevens.

He represented Hungary at the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen in 2014, achieving an impressive 5th place with his emotional and energetic hit “Running.”

Kállay Saunders also entered the TOP20 in the R&B/HipHop category with his song "DRUNK" at the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) in 2021, judged by superstar artists like Dua Lipa, Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park), Bebe Rexha, and Coldplay. In April, Kállay Saunders created the perfect soundtrack for this summer with "Breathing" (via Warner Music Poland) alongside Tunisian artist Ashref and long-time producer anatu. Now, he ensures the sensational sonic atmosphere of the upcoming winter.
"The original 'Merry Christmas Everyone' was sung by Shakin' Stevens and released in 1985. While remaking the song, we aimed to create a modern version closer to my musical style. We crafted a new beat but kept the original vocal melody with minimal changes. As a child, Christmas meant waiting for Santa Claus, getting presents, sledding, making snowmen, and watching Christmas movies. These are fond memories, but as I grew older, Christmas became more about love and family. It was the one time each year my grandmother flew 7,000 kilometers from Hungary to visit us in New York. Our family was together, happy, and complete. Getting presents was still fun, but giving became the true joy. I really hope that this song will remind everyone of the essence of this festive season." – says Kállay Saunders.
